Haiti Day 1: Layover

Posted by The Rev. Mark McKone-Sweet on with 4 Comments

The journey has been long for some and short others. The spiritual journey has been clear for some and anything but clear for others. What was a dream or a long told hope for hundreds of families is becoming tangible and real. And for our team, after months of anticipation we are hours from departure. Kelly, Randall, Allen, Vernon, Jim and his daughter Sofia and of course myself and my daughter Maya ... we all respect need to to the voice of the Lord: Isaiah 6:8 (Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”)

Will you respond to God's voice calling your name? Where will God send you?

Please pray for our team, the children of Lorenette and for Haiti, as they welcome their new president this week.
