Coming to St. Bartholomew's Campus
Our Safe Reopening Plan

Attending Congregational Worship

All congregational services will be held in different locations as the Sanctuary, courtyard and sidewalks will be under construction this summer. Please know that registration will be required to attend congregational worship. You can register and familiarize yourself with the process and procedures for attending congregational worship here.

I am over 65 years old. Can I come to an in-person service?
Currently, anyone over the age of 65 falls into a higher risk category and should reduce activity to lessen the chance of being exposed.  However, the decision to come to St. Bartholomew's is being left up to the individual.

Coming to St. Bartholomew's Campus

Do I have to wear a mask if nobody is next to me?
Yes, St. Bartholomew's policy is that anyone comes to our campus is required to wear a mask. If you need a mask, one will be given to you.

What symptoms should I look for before coming on campus?
If you or anyone in your household is experiencing a fever or chills, cough, achy muscles, loss of taste or smell, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea, then you should not come to St. Bartholomew's. It is strongly advised to get a COVID-19 test. Please do not come to St. Bartholomew's until symptom-free for 14 days.

What happens I become sick after coming on campus?
If you show symptoms of the coronavirus within two weeks of being at St. Bartholomew's, please contact the main office, (858) 487-2159 or . Depending on the circumstances, those who came in contact with you may need to be notified. Due to privacy laws, the name of an ill individual will not be shared.

Our Safe Reopening Plan

Can I see the campus safe reopening plan?
Yes, our plan is a public document. Before the campus opens, we will have a copy available in the main office for anyone who would like to look at it.

How are you ensuring the plan is followed?
Along with staff, we are asking parishioners to volunteer their time to assist in the health screening process of others when we host on-campus events. If you would like to volunteer your time, please contact Maureen Hovannesian for further information.

Why do we need to follow these rules?  In order to open, we must follow the guidelines set forth by our local government, our Bishop, and the CDC. After much research and careful consideration, the guidelines will help aid in reducing the spread of COVID-19.
