Centering Prayer

Gather to pray in the Christian tradition of Centering Prayer. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer, which is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. On Tuesdays from 5 – 6:30 p.m., join with others to practice this method of prayer in the education building, room 3A. Contact Sue or Chris Hagan, 760-745-8842.

What is Pastoral Counseling? Pastoral Counselors, as clinical mental health professionals, serve clients of any or no religious affiliation by integrating their spiritual beliefs and practices with therapeutic process. Whether someone is in crisis or looking for personal development, a pastoral counselor can provide the guidance, skill, relationship, and information needed to promote psychological and spiritual growth and wholeness. Pastoral counseling serves individuals, couples, families, and community systems in an effort to foster healing, renewal, reconciliation, and transformation.

Pastoral Visitors

Lay people who practice the ministry of presence for those who are alone or could use a good listener. To request a visit from a pastoral minister, or to get involved in this ministry, contact Cathie Roy.
